If you type "bottigliera" and then "bottle rack" in Google images you get exactly the same pictures.

Although, thinking about it, it says SCHIENALE, so I suppose BOTTLE CABINET is more appropriate. Colleagues, what do you think, bottle rack or bottle cabinet??
Thanks ;-)

I would definitely say BOTTLE CABINET, judging from the images above. Don't you have any pictures in the Italian version? They would help you understand which one it is!

Wine rack / wine cabinet

Explanation:
If this is for wine, reference is usually made in English to the wine aspect, rather than just using the word "bottle" as the Italian seems to do. We can use the word "cellar" to describe the rack quite often even though the literal translation of cellar is an enclosed underground area.

As you will see from the images provided in this web page, wine rack is the most common:
http://www.google.co.uk/images?q=wine rack&oe=utf-8&rls=org....

Through usage the term "wine cabinet" can be a name given to wine holding racks.

"mini wine cellar"
We can also say "mini wine cellar", which does not refer to the enclosed underground basement type storage space for wines, but is, again through usage, a term that is commonly applied to smaller portable type racks or holders for storing wine in kitchens, utility rooms etc. These images show some examples:

Example sentence(s):
  • "Malabar Wine Rack"

  -> Thank you. Yes assuming it is for wine but I haven't come across any other sort of bottle rack in UK anyway. Can be called a wine bottle rack I suppose.
