Il disegno della facciata, intonacata, fu pensato come una composizione astratta di colori primari: una interpretazione ortodossa del linguaggio neoplastico. Il risultato, cui concorre anche il disegno tipografico delle grandi lettere, è quello di trasformare il prospetto in un manifesto pubblicitario a scala urbana. Distrutto nel corso dei bombardamenti del 1940, il caffè è stato ricostruito à l’identique su progetto di Carel Weber. |
