Italian to English translations [PRO]
Furniture / Household Appliances / Tables
Italian term or phrase: noce tattile
The sentence reads "Un piano in legno nelle finiture noce tattile o rovere". I found numerous references on the net where it is left in Italian. Anybody has any idea what the English term is?
Trapacciuolo
English translation:rough walnut finish
Explanation:
I would translate it like this. The web brings back returns for 'rough sawn walnut', 'new walnut', 'tactile walnut' and, of course, 'noce tattile' with no translation, etc.

Prego!
Don't know how does that feels to an English ear, though.
If you're interested, and you might have bumped into this yourself, I've also found a sideboard called Tactile online at http://www.scp.co.uk/collections/furniture/products/tactile, which comes in walnut and oak veneer.
