Italian term or phrase: e, p.c.
Not much context here I'm afraid!

This is the beginning of a document.
The first box says " Al Direttore Generale"
The second box says "e, p.c."
This is followed by "Chiar.mo Prof"

What on earth does "e, p.c." mean?!

The document is about medical trials (although I think the term might be generic)

THanks!

agree  maryrose: Yes, cc is outdated, though, and also, in this case, I think "for information" is appropriate rather than the second person FYI (which is also a bit colloq for a formal document)

agree  Ivana UK: not sure about it being too informal though - it's used in internal banking docs all the time (even to Chief Exec etc) - depends whether the document is for internal or external purposes I suppose!
