Credo che questo sia un metodo di verifica e gestione dei dati ottenuti, in questo caso con un test CPT:
"La resistenza alla punta qc e l’attrito laterale locale fs nonché la pressione nei pori “u” vengono riportati nel grafico così come il rapporto percentuale Rf = 100 * fs / qc detto “rapporto di frizione”. La punta e le aste ad essa collegate vengono spinte nel terreno mediante un sistema idraulico e telaio di contrasto montato, in genere, su un autocarro il cui peso fornisce il contrasto necessario all’avanzamento dell’attrezzo. La punta viene inserita alla velocità standard di 2 cm/s. Alla fine dell’infissione di ogni singola asta, di lunghezza di un metro, la prova viene sospesa e si ritira verso l’alto la testa di spinta per poter avvitare un nuovo segmento d’asta e riprendere la prova per il metro successivo. Il diagramma della pressione nei pori “u” può rilevare l’andamento della pressione con la profondità; nei terreni permeabili essa coincide circa con la pressione statica, l’estrapolazione verso l’alto consente di stimare la posizione della falda (o eventuali posizioni di più falde in ammassi isolati da stratificazioni impermeabili)."
