Italian term or phrase: Scuola per il governo del territorio e del paesaggio

Buongiorno a tutti,
ho bisogno di suggerimenti per la traduzione del nome di questa scuola istituzionale.
La loro proposta è stata "Landscape and environment School of Government".
Personalmente ritengo che sia "paesaggio" a dover essere tradotto con "landscape" e la mia proposta di utilizzare "territory" per territorio è sotto discussione.
"School of Government" va assolutamente lasciato, quindi si tratta di trovare la soluzione adatta per rendere "territorio e paesaggio", da considerare appunto in senso istituzionale.
Vi ringrazio per il prezioso aiuto!

Explanation:
I would avoid "territory" unless they want a literal translation.
If the Governo is important, then the word they want is "governance" and you could put

"Landscape and environmental planning school of governance"

I have translated for "urbanisti" ("town and country planners" in the UK "urban and regional planners" in the US) for many, many years.

I very seriously wouldn't use the word "government", what they teach is "governance". Government would be a school for future politicians, not planners.
"landscape" translates "paesaggio"
"planning" and "environment" together translate "territorio" and "governo" together.
If they must have "governo" use my second alternative. In this context planning is taken for granted by the word "territorio". The definition of an urbanista in Italian is somebody who studies the "territorio".

Ps, don't let your client lead you into a bad translation. What they want and what they need are not always the same.

Asker: thank you James! Actually, the school needs to be called "school of government" and this would be their translation for "scuola per il governo". So "landscape" would be your proposal for "territorio"? and what about "paesaggio"?

Asker: thanks for the add, Jim. As said above, I agree with you as regards the governance part. I guess they want an easy solution with a sound in Italian as well, and this is driving me crazy. I sent them your proposal, which I like. I'll be back :)

Here's my suggestion. If you actually look up the school's website, it teaches regional planning with the emphasis on sustainability and consultation.

I agree with Jim that governance is better than government - maybe the customer might be open to persuasion.
