Il treno della suoneria dà rintocchi da 1 a 12 mediante partitora.

The few online references I've found don't help with the translation of this term - so any ideas are, as always, much appreciated!!

In the end I went with "count wheel (locking plate_" which fits the definition of partiora perfectly (and appears to be another way of saying "chime regulator")
