Italian to English translations [PRO] Human Resources / pensions - INPS
Italian term or phrase:campagna reddituale
From an information sheet issued by the INPS.
"Pensionati rientrati in Italia
Qualora lei abbia stabilito la sua residenza in Italia la prego di restituire il modulo REDEST 2004/2005 alla Sede dell'Inps indicata sul modulo stesso riportando la data di rientro.
Gli altri dati non debbono essere forniti in quanto formeranno oggetto di una successiva richiesta
nell'ambito di una specifica campagna reddituale rivolta ai residenti in Italia."
Is this simply an information campaign about pensioners' incomes, or something more than that?
Although I have 'closed without grading', because I didn't feel that 'campaign' worked in my context in English, I'd like to thank Stefania and zihron all the same. I don't think it's worth entering 'mailshot' into the glossary - it depends on the context.
Many thanks zihron. I don't think we'd call that a campaign in English, I think I'm going to say "mailshot" as in www.guardianship.gov.uk/ downloads/Benefits_Factsheet.pdf - perhaps "mailshot of income declaration forms".
The term "campagna" appears to have a wider range of meaning than the term "campaign".
Asker: Hi Stefania, I'm not sure I understand what you mean by campaign here, or that it's the word I'll use in English. Do you mean that INPS sends a group of citizens a form by post which they have to fill in and return?
