agree  Fiorsam: The question of adding or not adding "social" should depend on context

agree  Giuseppe Bellone: I think "social" is more precise, stressing "hardship" in connection with others/society, I'd add it. MHO. :) I undertand your point, but here it's "social" instead of "personal" hardship, that's why I'd add it. :)

  -> Italian style is towards the "analitico" (detail) adding as many adjectives as possible, while English is naturally in the opposite direction towards "sintesi" (concision).
