Explanation:
Euro lex uses both translations. I would go for "professional card" as in "European professional card, which would not be confused with an ordinary business card

This may or may not be card. It is more likely to be an A4 document on official headed paper issued by the registering body. I have one myself, proving that I'm an architect.
