Italian term or phrase: al volo
Translation of a portion of film with two women talking about a man who is in love with one of them. Can anyone help me phrase the last sentence in this exchage?

Thanks.

Secondo me, รจ innamorato perso di lei.

- Che dice ?
- Creda alla mia esperienza.

La guarda come ipnotizzato.

- Mi sta solo facendo un ritratto.
- Solo un ritratto ? E con cosa lo fa ?

- Con i colori ad olio.
- Davvero ?

Lo fa con il cuore, non con i colori !

Un uomo va capito al volo.
Da un cenno.

at a glance
Explanation:
at a glance = immediately

a glance should be enough, even though ... I've given up trying to understand men!! ;)

English American translation. The meaning is "at once" and it is very used in the colloquial language.
