If you gave more source text, I might be able to give you something a little less literal, but the meaning is that they want to sell cars by getting people to participate and to talk about the cars in their own social networks.

I forgot to say. The above concept orginates from and (like relationship marketing) probably still pertains primarily to the virtual web environment. However, when everybody is connected round the clock, the real world will of course just disappear in a dream world of its own and become totally irrelevant.

I would put "in a marketing context" or something like that. Personally I feel that "leva" is used much much more as a metaphor in Italian than "lever" in English, but you didn't give any more context. Also "participatory" in English is a far from user-friendly term. In sociology the term is better translated with community involvement. But yeah go ahead! Nobody should take terms blindly from the glossary without reading these pages and it points in the right direction.
