la mia interpretazione.
Padrone e' una parola volutamente forte, la renderei con master.
per "a braccetto" hand in hand is ok...ma sleeping with e' un'altra espressione forte, molto usata in giornalismo, che credo renda bene l'idea.
E' una questione di stile, ci sono diversi modi per esprimere le tue frasi.
