what's the difference with capo-redattore. I found them both translated as editor in chief.
Can anybody clarify?

James (Jim) Davis: 9:33am Apr 28, 2007: "Il direttore" will be at the top of the editorial hierarchy, which an have dozens of different types of editors in a large newspaper
Nicole Johnson: 3:07pm Apr 28, 2007: So, to sum things up, could the heirarchy be as follows:
Direttore - Managing Editor
Capo Redattore - Editor-in-Chief
Editore - Publisher

capo redattore: the boss of the editorial team (redattori)

direttore: is the big cheese, responsible for the running of the newspaper.
