agree  Monia Di Martino: Generally designers accessories are advertised on fashion magazines more than newspapers. Or the second suggestion wouldn't be bad, to be more precise.

In Italian we mean mainly newspapers, even when the same publisher may publish magazines, ovbiously.

Le testate giornalistiche, come spesso vengono definite, sono in fondo gli editori dei giornali, e poi possono anche pubblicare riviste , "magazines", ma prima sono giornali in senso lato quindi "nespapers" credo renda ampiamente, per non usare due parole. Parere personale.:)

Explanation:
A me risulta che testate sono: le quotidiani, le settimanali, le mensili, per non parlare dei "quarterlies" etc. Dunque, solo "newspapers" non funziona. D'altronde, "publications" is too vague, because books are also publications.
