Il piano previsto intende ridurre ulteriormente i costi di tale attività, sostituendo i lavoratori attuali - dipendenti da grandi aziende - con lavoratori autonomi, abolendo sindacato e diritti conquistati in anni di lotte. Secondo i Teamsters, questo nuovo sistema non danneggerà solo i lavoratori di queste aziende, ma anche coloro che acquisteranno auto, perché le condizioni di rischio e bassa qualità del trasporto avranno inevitabilmente riflessi anche sulle auto stesse, producendo facilmente danni.”
