(hereby) accepting full liability for the same Explanation: Kate - as rilievo derives from rilevare (v), and rilevare has, as one of its meanings, 'subentrare ad altri in un onere o una responsabilita', what it is saying in 'normal' language is , I think, that XXX has no responsibility for defects, including no responsibility to third parties, and that the other party to the contract takes on responsibility for such defects, i.e. stands in the shoes of XXX, free of any limitations, from now on. In an English contract this would be dealt with by way of an indemnity granted to XXX by the other party to the contract - my suggested term is what I believe the text is saying. Hope this helps. |
