It's that 'non recuperabili' I'm struggling with. Any help would be appreciated

Explanation: Firstly recoverable is a standard and very important term in finance and accounting.
Secondly, this means that the taxes cannot be claimed back, refunded, rebated, or recovered, which is different from deducting an expense from your income to reduce the income on which you pay tax.

This is recoverable taxes. VAT on purchases is sometimes recoverable.
