Italian to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Law: Taxation & Customs / Tax Return | | Italian term or phrase: Invio avviso telematico all'intermediario | | I am translating an Italian tax return into English. On the first page of the tax return, together with the details of the company in question and its legal representative, there is the following sentence: 'Invio avviso telematico all'intermediario'. I understand that in Italy the legal representative of a company has to send an 'alert OR notice' to the tax counsel (intermediario) of the company with all the information needed to file a tax return online. The tax counsel than has only a certain number of days to file the tax return. Could you help me translate that sentence? Thanks |
| | | Please send electronic advice to my accountant | Explanation: Income tax returns are checked by the tax authorites automatically by computer and if something there are errors then they send you a letter advising you of what is wrong. It may even be a refund (sometimes but not often). If you tick this box on the income tax return they will send the advice by email to your accountant who you have authorised to file your returns. Since this is actually the wording on the income tax return I have given a user friendly (simple and clear, even put a "please", sadly lacking in the original) translation.
The info is down there in the circular:

Ps a I think a tax counsel, is a barrister you would hire in a court case, My authorised "intermediario" is my accountant, although people with low budgets and go to a CAF, but the people there are qualified accountants (commercialisti) anyway. |
