Italian term or phrase: Decreto Milleproroghe
Should I leave it as it is and give an explanation in brackets or use something like "The Decree of a thousand/multiple extensions" ?

Explanation:
I don't think "thousand" works as well in English as it does in Italian, IMHO it makes it sound too much like a fairy story
