Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi GAR and thanks for your suggestion - I know this appears pretty straightforward ... the term which is causing problems here is that notoriously difficult expression 'nei confronti di' - as some of those involved are simply witnesses, so I wanted to avoid using 'against'. What do you thing of 'with regard to' ???

Asker: thanks Gar but towards just doesn't fit here - in that case I would prefer against ... what do you think if I write 'against/concerning'??

Asker: Thanks again Gar - you are so helpful. I will probably have to decide on 'against' but will have to deal with this in a few hours.
