Yes, although the explanation is slightly different as applies to contracts. See the "requirement of cause" applied to contracts in civil law jurisdictions (AFAIK does not exist in common law). Translate "void for lack of cause". HTH,

Asker: non sono sicurissima di essermi spiegata bene: il contratto è nullo perché i contraenti non avevano una vera ragione per contrarre, ma volevano solo ottenere un risparmio fiscale. La traduzione serebbe la stessa??
