Italian term or phrase: dottore

So che la domanda su come tradurre questo termine è già stata posta più volte, ma visto che in Italia il termine è usato e abusato, c'è caso e caso (c'è dottore e dottore!).
Qui il termine si trova nella carta intestata di uno studio legale e viene usato per differenziare chi ha questo titolo dagli avvocati veri e propri (immagino quelli che hanno superato l'esame e sono iscritti all'ordine).

In questo caso che titolo posso dare in inglese ai nostri poveri dottori? Solo "Mr." o "Ms"come suggerito in altre risposte, o addirittura niente, neanche un titoletto?!

Mrs. è in disuso, inoltre in Italia si usa comunque il nome da nubile. mentre il nome che segue Mrs. deve per forza essere quello da coniugata (loro li usano entrambi insieme, se sono famosi, oppure proprio non usano più il nome da nubile, tanto è vero che alcuni provider di posta elettronica ti consigliano come "domanda segreta" il nome da nubile di tua madre!).
I sistemi universitari britannico, americano e italiano sono troppo diversi per provare a trovare un equivalente. Tra l'altro, loro proprio usano meno titoli di noi.
