Italian term or phrase: deposito ministeriale
Si riferisce a materiali non soggetti al deposito Ministeriale (RCP, articolo scientific pubblicati e con riferimento solo alla patologia...). I am editing another translator's work and he/she has used "notificaiton" for deposito ministeriale. I am not convinced but cannot find it anywhere. Any suggestions please?

Regardless of how they well notifying and depositing are two pretty different things. I notified the ministry that I had prepared the document= informing the ministry that you have written it. Depositing the document with the ministry means taking the document to the ministry and leaving it there.

Many thanks. My feeling was that a more literal translation was better, and "notification" idn't sound right, even when spelled correctly.
