Italian term or phrase: IN FUNZIONE AUSILIARIA
Hi,

I am really struggling with the phrase below from a Memorandum and Articles of Association:

LA SOCIETA HA PER OGGETTO:
- L’ASSUNZIONE DI PARTECIPAZIONI IN ALTRE SOCIETA OD ENTI, SIA IN ITALIA CHE ALL’ESTERO; LO SVOLGIMENTO IN FUNZIONE AUSILIARIA, PER LE SOCIET CUI PARTECIPA, DI SERVIZI RELATIVI ALL’ATTIVIT DI COORDINAMENTO, GESTIONE ED AMMINISTRAZIONE, NATURALMENTE CON ESCLUSIONE DI QUANTO PREVISTO DALLA LEGGE 2 GENNAIO 1991 N. 1;

The first part is okay but I cannot work out the last part from LO SVOLGIMENTO IN FUNZIONE AUSILIARIA.....

THE OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY ARE:
- TO ACQUIRE SHARES OF OTHER COMPANIES OR ORGANISATIONS WHETHER IN ITALY OR ELSEWHERE; TO DEVELOP ........

Thanks
