Italian to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law (general) | | Italian term or phrase: V.P.A. | I am translating a "procura" which is appended to a "ricorso" I have just translated.
it is just a few lines long
"Deleghiamo a rappresentarci e difenderci in ogni grado e fase della presente procedura, gli Avv.ti XXXX e YYYY del Foro di ZZZZ, eleggendo domicilio presso il loro studio in ZZZZ.
[firma dell'avvocato XXXX]
V.P.A. F.TO [nome dell'avvocato YYYY]"
I think V.P.A. may be "vice procuratore avvocato" and "F. TO" is "firmato", but would like confirmation and also a suggested translation for "V.P.A.". |

By the way, my wife is an Italian lawyer, and also confirms that this is what v.p.a. stands for. But just to reassure you, there are a good 5,300 hits for v.p.a. in its extended form:

However, as in your case, it is often abbreviated, or very often written simply as "per autentica" (which in fact gets 24,000+ hits):
