agree  Alice Ungarini: Proxy can also replace Power of attorney and it is used more often in North America anyway when dealing with legal representative of companies/corporations. Ideally Proxy Ref. No.

Public prosecutor


Explanation:
In Italy la Procura della repubblica is the Public Prosecutor Office that is usually located in the Court House. The prosecutors (district attorneys in the US) work for this office.

disagree  philgoddard: Why would a public prosecutor be involved with a power of attorney?

  -> good question if it is a power of attorney. I expressed the contrarian view in case we are dealing with a procuraratore of the republic. Perhaps the REP. is a short for repertorio which would make my suggestion wrong. More context would avoid the confusio
