agree  James (Jim) Davis: Why not translate it literally? After all that it works, it is precisely what they want, to "hear" the person ordered to pay.

  -> It would sound right in that context in English. This is one of those boilerplate phrases in Italian that lawyers use without thinking.

Scusa, non so come fare a rispondere al tuo commento (non uso proz da tanto e devo ancora capire bene com'è strutturato!) e quindi ti scrivo qui... per non ripetere "court" potresti scrivere semplicemente "xxx summoned yyy to have the Court order..." - il verbo "to summon" già di per sè implica il fatto di dover apparire in tribunale -

Ho riletto meglio la tua frase e si, forse Court vale la pena ripeterlo... ho visto tante sentenze in lingua comunque comprendenti la ripetizione di Court in questi casi
