Italian term or phrase: assorbente
Si chiede che venga accertata e dichiarata, in via pregiudiziale ed ASSORBENTE rispetto ad ogni altra questione, la nullità dell'atto di citazione.

My understainding is that "assorbente" means that this issue "absorbs" and makes any further claim irrelevant.

Any suggestions?

Good thing you didn't ask about the prejudicial, preliminary (EU ref.) or prejudgmental part.

'... The Court recognized that there was a split in authority among the states on the issue of the *preclusionary* effect of a guilty plea, and the Court overruled ...'
