I notice this Ital. term usually does not.

Diificult to cross. check as I can't find an Ital. trans. for en banc -sometimes spelt in the US 'en bank'.

Thanks! I think you're probably right. a "composizione monocratica" is a single judge hearing, so "collegiale" is probably a hearing done by all its members
