Italian to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents | | Italian term or phrase: conferenza dei servizi | Legal/administrative term denoting a sort of meeting of local resources called to assess certain large projects. Perhaps my explanation of the term is not really precise, but in any case, I have not been able to come up with a decent English equivalent.
The Italian sentence is as follows (extract from a court sentence):
"...l'esistenza di un parere negativo (pur se immotivato) tra quelli che dovevano obbligatoriamente essere richiesti, avrebbe costretto il Ministero ad indire una conferenza dei servizi." |

12 hrs confidence: meeting of service providers
Explanation: Without the context it is hard to say what are the "servizi". Service providers is simply a generic suggestion that might or might not fit in your context, to be taken with many grains of salt.

| | | Grading comment This question has become a little redundant. Nowadays, it would be more proper to render it as "consultation with local stakeholders".
None of the answers provided satisfied me really, and this suggestion (that I have just provided) was found in EU documentation several months ago.
Cheers
