"ad incastro" measn it's "slotted" but "spalla" can be translated in a number of ways.
Marolli gives "shoulder" with no explanation

Zanichelli/McGraw Hill gives spalla = "shoulder or the portion of a shaft, a stepped object, or a flanged object that shows an increase of diameter".

Picchi gives "web".
In the years I have been dealing with machine tools I haven't come across "web" but certainly "shoulder" I use a lot.

maybe
i first looked at "spalla" french "collet" in eurodicautom
then i went to grand dictionnaire and this term seems to fit because it uses collet and mentions epaulement spalla=epaule
collar includes the idea "ad encastro"
hope it fits
see if you've got a shaft in that machine, if you've got one it might be a good sign
