Non so se questa sia la traduzione esatta ma una relata di notifica è una dichiarazione/relazione effettuata da ufficiale giudiziario, messo comunale o agente postale (quest'ultimo in caso di notifica a mezzo posta), il quale nel consegnare l'atto stende una relata di notifica.
La relata dà luogo a presunzione legale di conoscenza e, pertanto, dalla data di avvenuta notifica decorrono i termini per assolvere a determinati obblighi o far valere i propri diritti.
