Italian to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents
Italian term or phrase: Italian laws
Can someone please explain if their is a standard procedure/form for translating/transcribing references for Italian laws as follows.

Art.8 e 19 della legge XXX/1996
art.9, comma 1, lett.a a) and b)legge XXX/1996

English translation:Suggestion provided
Explanation:
Articles 8 and 19 of Italian law no. XXX/1996.
Article 9(1)(a) and (b) of Italian law no. xxx/1996.
In the case of Codes (Italian Civil Code, Code of Civil Procedure, etc.) the term "article" is generally rendered as "section".
This is basically standard usage.
Hope that was helpful.
