It's normally a list of words that represent the "lemmi," the ones that dictionaries more often than not define and translate as headwords, a kind of main linguistic entry from which many other words originate. You should be able to find it in any bilingual dictionary.

lexicon

Explanation:
lessico is what the dictionary says back into Italian - but "lexicon" is what we most frequently use in linguistics

agree nothing: This is it. Lexicon is the list of all the "lemmi" in a particular language, not in a dictionary, which will usually include only part of the lexicon
