Italian term or phrase: cassa vs. gabbia
I am doing a translation on wood packing materials in which they make a distinction between "cassa" in abete and "gabbia" in abete. I have always translated "cassa" as crate - but "gabbia" is also crate.
Since I need to distinguish between the two, could I just use "box" for cassa and leave "crate" for gabbia?
Any ideas?
Thanks all!
