Italian to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Manufacturing / confectionary manufacture
Italian term or phrase: battitrici
I have no information about what these are used for, they just appear in a list of assets, but given the sector (confectionary manufacture) they are clearly not the usual "threshing machines".

From looking at other sweet makers' sites, I suspect they may be used for eliminating air from the paste early in the process, but have no idea of a name in English.

Beaters are usually used to introduce air into the mixture.
As far as I know air removal is not accomplished by mechanical means but by simply avoiding its introduction during the process .....
