Tech/Engineering - Manufacturing | | Italian term or phrase: autocontrollo produzione | | I'm translating the description of a company quality control system (the company produces moulded components). In it I have one phase entitled "controllo durante la produzione" in which the quality control operative performs various controls on the products leaving the production line and another phase entitled "autocontrollo produzione" in which the same controls are carried out by the production operative himself in the absence of a quality control representative. I find myself in difficulty as I would have translated both as "process control" and can't think how to neatly make the distinction. Can anyone help? Thanks, Sarah. |
| | Clarification request(s) and responseMary Carroll Richer LaFlèche: 3:03pm Jun 27, 2008: it sounds like the 'controllo' is during the production phase and the 'autocontrollo' is after completion but that is only an assumption due to lack of information
