Italian to English translations [PRO]
Manufacturing
Italian term or phrase: trainato
Found in a quality audit report: "Futuri operatori vengono trainati 3 anni in tutti i settori della produzione prima dell’assunzione". Would I be right in thinking this was an italianisation of the English word "trained"? Can't think otherwise what it might mean. Thanks.

agree  Michael Korovkin: wouldn't it be fun though, to translate the whole thing as it deserves to be translated: "dragged for 3 years through all production areas"? By their managerial scruff.
