Tech/Engineering - Manufacturing | | Italian term or phrase: stampa d’iniezione di termoplastico | This is from an interview of a man speaking about how an HP Designjet 3D has helped their business in the manufacturing of cycling accessories and trainers.
I don't know what they mean when they say "abbiamo ottenuto per stampa d’iniezione di termoplastico". Can someone please help with this? They are talking about making prototypes with this printer but I am not familiar with this technique, so I need help with the proper wording.
Context:
- Noi troviamo HP Designjet 3D molto attrattiva in quanto ci dà la possibilità a livello progettuale di avere dei prototipi in tempo reale.
- Abbiamo sicuramente un ritorno economico con questa tecnologia in quanto con lo stesso costo riusciamo a fare quattro volte i prototipi che facevamo precedentemente.
- L’ultimo progetto che abbiamo portato avanti e prototipato completamente con questa tecnologia è il nostro cavalletto NOVO che potete vedere dietro di me.
- Questo prodotto è un ausilio per l’allenamento indoor di un ciclista.
- Siamo riusciti con questa tecnologia a prototipare ben quattro cavalletti.
- Le dimensioni di questi cavalletti sono circa 500x500.
- Abbiamo prototipato l’intero parco di plastiche che poi abbiamo ottenuto per stampa d’iniezione di termoplastico. |
