Italian term or phrase: filo impalcato

In the description of a distributed control system for a brass plating plant:

"Controllo Rottura Filo Impalcato"
This appers as a heading of a section.

"Ingresso Impalcato"
appears as a sub-heading; the entire text of the section reads:

"Verra’ realizzato un quadro elettrico contenente una periferia decentrata, da collegare al PLC master, per trattare gli IO descritti di seguito:"

The table that follows does not discuss the "filo impalcato".

I am lost. All suggestions welcome.

Ho tirato ad indovinare, ma... a pag.19 c'è un'immagine. Che sia quello che cerchi?
La rottura di quel filo mi ha fatto pensare a dei cavi che sospendono delle impalcature...

Asker: Molte grazie. Il caso nel mio documento è diverso. Si tratta di "ottonare" dei fili (rivestirli di un film di ottone). Una possibilità è che questi fili siano sostenuti da un'impalcatura (come tu suggerisci). Però tutto ciò non è specificato nel testo che si concentra sul sistema di controllo. Il processo è presunto noto al lettore. Comunque, it tuo suggerimento è utile. Grazie ancora.
