Italian term or phrase: noce effecta
This is a type of wood finish - there's also ciliego effecta. A search on the internet doesn't give me much, just some color samples that aren't much help

NOCE EFFECTA
effetto noce (walnut effect)

Explanation:
effecta and ciliego mean nothing in IT . they could be "effetto noce" and "effetto ciliegio": in that case, walnut effect and cherry-wood effect

you're right: it's the commercial name (registered name) of a type of wood finishing system:
http://www.guidafinestra.it/contenuti/Generale/prodotti/Vern...
So your translation would be:
EFFECTA (type) walnut finish
EFFECTA (type) cherry-wood finish

Notes to answerer
Asker: That's what I thought at first, then I saw this: INFISSI E FINESTRE AD UNO O PIU’ BATTENTI IN ALLUMINIO DEL TIPO EFFECTA COLORE BIANCO on this site: http://www.edildomec.it/appartamenti_ville_vendita_salento.asp?i=133 which made me believe it could have some other meaning
