Il fluido in ingresso nei cilindri disposti a stella sospinge i pistoni sull’albero eccentrico mettendone in atto il movimento. I pistoni dovendo seguire il movimento dell’eccentrico e con esso restare allineati, sono dotati di una struttura oscillante adeguata; la realizzazione può essere del tipo a snodo sferico sulla testa del pistone oppure ad articolazione con doppio ***codolo***.
