In a major industry usually the quantity of parts/equipment etc. manufactured in large quantity. But some times small orders also expected. In such cases the orders are seggregated and the small quantity orders are loaded in the workshops seperately allocating exclusive facilities so that there may not be much loss in terms of utilisation of man power and mechinary which is meant for heavy load.
