Thanks to all. I ended up calling it "media types", in the end, since it refers to mass media, but specificallly the use of devices, like Mp3 readers, mobiles, the net, iPods, etc. Cheers, Chris.

Asker: I wasn't sure really, "media" seemed to generic, unless it can be taken to mean "mass media". Also I wasn't sure why the genitive was in the plural form here :-) Cheers. Chris.
