heart sounds are normal, no murmurs Explanation: heart auscultation principally gives two main results: first, whether the two normally present sounds are indeed sounding normal, without modifications of tone, duration, ... (this is usually referred to as "normal heart sounds", but you can also find "clear heart sounds". Second, one is interested, whether there are no murmurs in between these two normal sounds; in English this is expressed as "no murmurs", in Italian as "pause libere" (free (of murmurs)).
