paradox movements
Explanation:

dyssynergy

Explanation:
The purpose of this study was to delinate how the anterior wall DYSSYNERGY influenced the intraventricular flow redistribution patterns during the isovolumic relaxation (IVR) period, which delineated the changes in diastolic suction performance and, therefore, determined the significant Doppler flow variables for predicting left ventricular filling pressure.

paradoxical movement

Explanation:
......on the left cardiac chambers, we performed intraoperative trans-esophageal echocardiography (TEE) in 8 patients (7 males, mean age 66 years) undergoing pneumonectomy for lung cancer. No patient had any cardiac involvement before surgery. The opening of the pericardium was associated with a slight **paradoxical movement** of the basal interventricular septum.

....Isovolumetric phase contractility indices were decreased; they may increase during PESP. Left ventricular compliance was altered due to left and right ventricular hypertrophy and to **paradoxical movement*** of interventricular septum which impeded diastolic expansion of left ventricle.

Surgical treatment of diaphragmatic eventration caused by phrenic nerve injury in the newborn. de Vries TS, Koens BL, Vos A.

Pediatric Surgical Center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

BACKGROUND: Phrenic nerve palsy in infants and young children usually results from birth injury or iatrogenic damage. The newborn almost invariably presents with severe respiratory distress, diaphragmatic elevation, and **paradoxical movement** at the affected side.
