So, the "behalf" is on behalf of Local Health Authorities.

I managed to find the context very easily. I doubt very much you will find a standard marketing term because this is highly specific to the Italian pharmaceuticals distribution system through the national health service.

Ok so the DPC (distribuzione per conto) is when a Local Health Authority buys medicinal products from the pharmaceutical companies and sells to the pharmacies and the direct distribution is when the pharmacies buy directly from the pharmaceutical companies themselves?
