Italian term or phrase: emocomponenti di secondo livello
Procedure for requesting blood components from a transfusion centre:
"per gli emocomponenti di secondo livello (globuli rossi e concentrati piastrinici irradiati, filtrati e lavati...")

The meaning is clear, but is there a specific term in English to describe such processed blood components? I've tried "processed" and "treated" on Google, but the number of hits isn't convincing in either case. (There aren't many hits for "emocomponenti di secondo livello" either, come to that - I get the impression that the term was invented by the state in its "buon uso del sangue" guidelines.)

There doesn't seem to be an agreed standard, but I think this probably describes it the best. Thanks to all answerers.
