What is this "globo"?

urinary bladder overdistension
Explanation:
Globo means "ball, globe": the urinary bladder may be perceived by palpation as a ball into the abdomen.

I do not know if an English corresponding term exists: usually I have found "overdistension"

Urinary retention and bladder overdistension may be missed surprisingly easily in the postoperative period especially with the altered sensorium that occurs with anesthetic and postoperative pain medications -

You may find some result searching "vesical globe", but the authors usually are not native speakers

agree  Dr Sue Levy: overdistension is fine - or marked bladder distension - similar term in FR globe vésical - but "vesical globe" is certainly not English :-)
